Texas Rangers RPs Alexi Ogando and Scott Feldman will officially start the year in the bullpen with SP Neftali Feliz (shoulder) OK to start. Feliz will throw 80 pitches in a spring game Saturday, March 31, and make his first regular season start April 10 against the Seattle Mariners.

Texas Rangers SP Alexi Ogando worked six innings in a minor league game Wednesday, March 28. He allowed three runs - two earned - and five hits with eight strikeouts and no walks. "I was hitting my spots and felt good," Ogando said through a translator. Ogando also said he has fine-tuned his changeup, and the pitch was used frequently during the outing. Despite the solid outing, Ogando is expected to work out of the bullpen.

Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington is very impressed with SPs Yu Darvish and Neftali Feliz and doesn't want to limit them at all this season. RPs Scott Feldman and Alexi Ogando could be called upon to pitch multiple relief innings early on, as they're being stretched out as starters in spring training.
