Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers OG Matt Stinchcomb is expected to get released from the team before Monday, March 6. Stinchcomb would have counted $2.25 million against the team's salary cap. Latest figures have the Buccaneers at $15.7 million over the $94.5 million salary cap, but that does not include QB Chris Simms $2.1 million salary.

Roy Cummings, writing for the Sporting News, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don't know when or if OG Matt Stinchcomb (back, heart) will play again. Stinchcomb went down for the 2005 season with a back injury, but a heart problem that crept up during his surgery has further jeopardized his chances of returning to form.
