Despite his prolific numbers in college, he went undrafted, but the Bills signed him quickly. "Because we didn't draft any receivers, I wanted to get some taller guys in here to work with them and see what different things we could do with them in our package with the new offense we're running," said Bills receivers coach Tyke Tolbert, who added that 6-3-plus undrafted rookie WR Chris Denney was brought in for the same reason. Tolbert said Nance has shown improvement every day since he arrived, but Nance indicated that he's still a work in progress.
