Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Singletary said OT Barry Sims was doing an "outstanding" job at left tackle in place of OT Joe Staley (knee). However, Sims is unlikely to remain in the starting lineup once Staley returns. Singletary added that Sims is unlikely to move to right tackle, because he likes the job OT Adam Snyder is doing at the position.
