The Houston Texans offered first-round tenders to TE Owen Daniels and QB Matt Leinart Wednesday, March 2, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain. WR Jacoby Jones, DL Mark Anderson and OG Mike Brisiel received second-round tenders. OT Rashad Butler received a third-round tender. RB Arian Foster was also tendered and will make $480,000 next year.

Houston Texans OT Duane Brown was suspended four games Tuesday, Sept. 21, for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain. Brown will be replaced by OT Rashad Butler. Free-agent OT Ephraim Salaam will be re-signed to take Butler's role as the swing tackle.

John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans have issued low tenders to impending restricted free agents OT Rashad Butler, RB Ryan Moats, DE Tim Bulman and OG Chris L. White. The Texans have the right of first refusal with each player. They would receive third-round draft picks as compensation if a team signed Butler or Moats and the Texans refused to match the offer, but they would receive no compensation for Bulman or White.
