Stephen F. Holder and Joanne Korth, of the St. Petersburg Times, report the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are unlikely to sign free agent OL Lincoln Kennedy (Raiders). Kennedy came into his workout with the team out of shape and head coach Jon Gruden did not even attend the session.

The Tampa Tribune reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have met with free agent OL Lincoln Kennedy (Raiders). Kennedy is being put through drills to see if he is in good enough shape to join the team.

The Washington Post reports retired NFL OL Lincoln Kennedy underwent medical testing at Redskins Park Wednesday, Aug. 2, but did not work out. Head coach Joe Gibbs said Kennedy had "medical issues" after taking a physical, and the team does not intend to sign him.

Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Star-Telegram, reports the Dallas Cowboys are bringing in retired NFL OT Lincoln Kennedy for a tryout. Kennedy, who played 12 years with the Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons, retired in 2004. He has been working as an analyst for the NFL Network.
