The Indianapolis Colts hired former San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Hal Hunter as their new offensive line coach Wednesday, Jan. 30, and also added former Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant wide receivers coach Tim Berbenich as their offensive assistant.

San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said offensive coordinator Hal Hunter has been a critical part of the offense during his tenure and should thrive in his new role. "Hal has been an important part of our offense since I've been here," Turner said. "He has a complete understanding of what we want to do in the run and the pass."
