New York Giants P Steve Weatherford, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent March 13, is hopeful of returning to the team in 2012. He said his agent has been talking to the team about a new contract, but both sides decided to wait until after Super Bowl XLVI to resume talks. "We've been talking for a while, but we haven't made any progress," Weatherford said. "We've tried, though. We've kind of shelved our negotiations until the Super Bowl's over."
