David White, of the San Francisco Chronicle, reports Oakland Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey is inactive for Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. WR Louis Murphy will start instead, and WR Todd Watkins is taking Heyward-Bey's active roster spot.
Fantasy Tip: It's about time Oakland came to their senses. But no Raiders wideout has been worthy of a fantasy play for most of the season. Keep an eye on Murphy in deep leagues. It'll be interesting to see if any Raiders receiver makes an impact because Pittsburgh should harass QB Bruce Gradkowski often.

Jason La Canfora, of NFL Network, reports Oakland Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell made good on his promise to gather some of the team's wide receivers for a secret passing camp before reporting for training camp July 29. Russell invited WRs Louis Murphy, Todd Watkins and Will Franklin, among others, while playing for their airfare, to his passing camp in Alabama, presumably with the intent of improving their timing and chemistry and rapport off the field.
