Green Bay Packers SS Morgan Burnett is the favorite to start at strong safety on opening day with SS Atari Bigby (ankle) undergoing ankle surgery Friday, Aug. 6, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein. Burnett has impressed with his playmaking ability but he still has a lot to learn about making calls in the secondary and diagnosing plays.
