Jacksonville Jaguars DE Aaron Morgan has elevated his play on the defensive line this preseason as the team tries to become more effective at rushing the quarterback this season. DEs Jeremy Mincey and Andre Branch look to be starters for Week 1 at this point with DE Austen Lane (ankle) expected to be out another two weeks and DE John Chick (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Jeremy Mincey is considered a clear-cut starter, but the other defensive end is not as clear. Second-round draft pick DL Andre Branch has the tools to be an edge rusher, and his progress has impressed defensive line coach Joe Cullen. DLs John Chick, Austen Lane and Aaron Morgan are also in the mix and expected to challenge.
