The Associated Press reports the Texas Rangers agreed to terms with OF Josh Hamilton, P Omar Beltre, 1B Chris Davis, RP Thomas Diamond, IF German Duran, SP Eric Hurley, RP Warner Madrigal, 3B Travis Metcalf, P Guillermo Moscoso, P Alexi Ogando, C Max Ramirez and C Taylor Teagarden Wednesday, Feb. 25. Hamilton will receive $550,000 and Davis will receive $406,620.

MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan reports Texas Rangers 3B Travis Metcalf has an opportunity to be a front-line third baseman, but his development pace has been slowed due to injury. Metcalf (hamstring) was sidelined by hamstring problems at the end of the 2007 season and the beginning of the 2008 season.
