Dolphins | Byron Maxwell showing well in OTAs |
Sat, 28 May 2016 12:37:23 -0700
Miami Dolphins CB Byron Maxwell "hasn't disappointed (new head coach Adam Gase) one bit" during organized team activities, according to a source. "He has done a good job; he has challenged the wideouts. … He has done a great job of getting his hands on balls, and it makes it tough on not only the receivers, but the quarterback, because that window is tight. Dolphins | Jordan Cameron still a fit in Miami |
Wed, 24 Feb 2016 18:31:13 -0800
Miami Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron is in the team's plans for 2016, according to new head coach Adam Gase. He is scheduled to cost $9.5 million against the salary cap. "Obviously, the tight end position is something we've made a living on in this offense over the past three years, so both those guys (Cameron and Dion Sims), I really see a great fit as far as what we do," Gase said.
Fantasy Tip: Gase has watched Julius Thomas, Martellus Bennett and even Zach Miller perform well in his offense over the last three seasons. Cameron had only 35 catches in his first season as a Dolphin and Miami can save $7.5 million against the cap by cutting him, so he's not guaranteed a spot. Staying healthy has always been a primary concern for Cameron, who could return to TE1 status under Gase if he remains a Dolphin and can avoid injury in 2016.

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase has been hired as the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins. Gase will receive a five-year contract from the Dolphins, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: Gase brings a quarterback-friendly offense to the Dolphins that could help Ryan Tannehill with his development. Tannehill probably will a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues next season. Jarvis Landry should still be considered an early-round option because of the numbers he has posted the last few years. Owners should monitor the running back situation since Lamar Miller will be a free agent.
