Washington Redskins DL Barry Cofield said there are no guarantees the team will win another game this season. Cofield said he expects the team's struggles to grow if players don't step it up. Washington Redskins DL Barry Cofield, formerly of the New York Giants, questioned the way the Giants handled some veteran players, opting to part ways rather than re-sign them. The Giants released C Shaun O'Hara and OG Rich Seubert, declined to re-sign LB Chase Blackburn and let TE Kevin Boss and WR Steve E. Smith leave via free agency. "Some other guys I played with, sweat with and bled with, I don't think it was right, the way things went down with them," Cofield said. "A guy that's been there for 10 years like Rich gets hurt and you fire him? That's the best way to put it. And don't forget about Osi (Umenyiora). I don't think that's right either."
