Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills signed OG Brad Butler to a new contract that will run through 2012. The new deal extends his contract for three additional years and includes $8.8 million in new money, according to league sources. He will average just about $2 million a year counting the five years he is under contract. He will earn base salaries of $945,000 (2008), $1 million (2009) and $1.55 million each year from 2010 through 2012. The rest of the money will come from bonus payments.
