Jeff Walcoff, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports the Cleveland Browns will have a competition for the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart in the offseason. With WR Braylon Edwards (knee) possibly missing some regular season games, WRs Joe Jurivicius and Dennis Northcutt could both be starting, opening up the No. 3 spot for the remaining players to vie for. WRs Frisman Jackson, Joshua Cribbs and Brandon Rideau are the top candidates for the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, with rookie WRs Travis Wilson, Carlton Brewster, Brent Little, Steve Sanders and newly acquired WR Kendrick Mosley competing as well.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Ferris State WR Carlton Brewster measured a height of 5-11 and a weight of 210 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash twice in 4.57 seconds while running the short shuttle in 4.14 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.89 seconds. He had a 31-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-10 broad jump to go along with his 24 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

Dean Holzwarth, of the Grand Rapids Press, reports former Ferris State WR Carlton Brewster took part in the Cactus Bowl in Kingsville, Tex., and has drawn some interest from NFL teams. Brewster had three catches for 33 yards in the game and was contacted by six NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers.
