Washington Nationals SS Asdrubal Cabrera, making the start at second base in his team debut Friday, Aug. 1, against the Philadelphia Phillies, was hitless in four at-bats.

Fantasy Tip: Cabrera is expected to get a majority of the starts at second base down the stretch, and he should gain eligibility there soon in all fantasy formats. It might take a little bit for him to adjust to a new league, but he remains a solid fantasy option in most formats.

The Cleveland Indians have received 2B Zach Walters from the Washington Nationals as part of the SS Asdrubal Cabrera deal.

Fantasy Tip: With Mike Aviles the likely replacement at shortstop, Walters or Jose Ramirez will likely be sent to the minors. Aviles gets a huge boost to his fantasy value. He has proven to be a low-end middle infielder in the past. Everyday at-bats make Aviles a viable option in the majority of formats.
