Fantasy Tip: Nothing to be concerned with here, as Cabrera was likely pulled for rest with a big lead after playing 24 innings in two days.

Updating a previous report, X-rays for Cleveland Indians SS Asdrubal Cabrera (wrist) came back negative. According to manager Terry Francona, Cabrera slipped down the steps of the dugout five minutes before the game started and broke his fall with his left hand. Francona added that he was feeling better after the game Saturday, April 20, but Cabrera was not in the starting lineup against the Houston Astros Sunday, April 21.

Cleveland Indians SS Asdrubal Cabrera (back) is very optimistic that he will be ready for opening day. He has missed the last six spring games with his back ailment. Cabrera could serve as the designated hitter in a minor league game Friday, March 29. "He's doing well," manager Terry Francona said. "He's definitely on pace for opening day. We're just trying to figure out the best way for him to feel more comfortable at the plate."

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Indians SS Asdrubal Cabrera (back) resumed hitting drills Wednesday, March 27, although he missed a fourth straight spring game due to a back issue. Manager Terry Francona said the team is being cautious, and Cabrera is likely to sit out at least one more game.

Fantasy Tip: The team is taking it easy with Cabrera now in order to get him ready for Opening Day, which fantasy owners can certainly appreciate. He is a must-start AL-only fantasy option, and a Top 15 player at his position in mixed play.

Fantasy Tip: The Indians are probably being cautious here, but we'd feel much better if he played in several more spring games before the start of the season.
