Fantasy Tip: If a save situation arises Monday, expect Dale Thayer to get the shot to close out the game. Thayer has minimal experience as a closer from last season.

The San Diego Padres will activate RP Dale Thayer from the paternity list Monday, Aug. 27. RPs Josh Spence and Brad Boxberger will be sent back to Triple-A Tucson to make room on the roster.
