Jeff Walcoff, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports Cleveland Browns DT Babatunde Oshinowo believes he is making progress and has recorded a sack in each of the first two preseason games, "I felt good about getting sacks in the games. But I felt better in the second (preseason) game about my overall technique." Oshinowo, 6-feet-1, 302 pounds, knows at his size technique is the most important thing he can learn, "I feel like I've progressed a lot in my technique and I've learned a lot from guys like DT Orpheus (Roye) and DT Ted (Washington) and I've made a lot of good strides."

Steve Doerschuk, writing for the Sporting News, reports opinions seem to be mixed regarding Cleveland Browns rookie DT Babatunde Oshinowo. One veteran NFL personnel man said Oshinowo doesn't impress him as even a candidate for 10 snaps a game, but the Browns view Oshinowo as a sixth-round steal. The Browns liked his stoutness against the run at Stanford and think he can become a good fit for their 3-4 scheme.

Jeff Walcoff, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports Cleveland Browns DT Babatunde Oshinowo, a sixth-round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, might have been a big steal for the Browns. Oshinowo was originally projected to go in the first three rounds, but due to poor offseason workouts, the team was able to grab a player with proven experience as a 3-4 nose tackle much later in the draft.

He hasn't played a defensive end position. He's pretty much been on the nose. I think initially he'll be on the nose."

Because of intermittent rain, the players ran on Astroturf that was too slippery for most of the players to run the shuttles. They will return Thursday, March 30 to run the shuttles.
