Chicago Bears LB Lance Briggs (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 15 and may not be able to play in Week 6, reports Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Tribune. If he is not able to play, LB Brian Iwuh will take his place.

Chicago Bears LB Lance Briggs (ankle) missed practice Thursday, Oct. 14, and Chicago is preparing LB Brian Iwuh to start in Briggs' place, reports ESPNChicago.com's Jeff Dickerson. "Lance Briggs' ankle is a little bit of a concern," head coach Lovie Smith said Thursday. "Whenever you don't practice for two straight days, it's a little bit of a concern." Iwuh has worked primarily on special teams during his career, though he started three games for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2006-09.
