Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans special teams coach Joe Marciano is working closely with PK Kris Brown this season in hopes of helping Brown improve his overall numbers. Three times in Brown's seven-year career, he has connected on 80 percent of his field goals. "He's been a very solid kicker in this league for many, many years," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "And nobody is harder on themselves than Kris is, so I expect him to bounce back and do a great job."

John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports soon to be Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, currently offensive coordinator with the Denver Broncos, will retain Texans special teams coach Joe Marciano.
