Philadelphia Eagles WR Jason Avant posted eight receptions for a team-high 110 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the New England Patriots. Avant finished up the game as the de facto No. 1 receiver, as there are reports WR DeSean Jackson (foot) either left injured or was benched. Avant also left himself after having his wind knocked out, but he was able to return.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jason Avant said the team, which has a 3-5 record, will treat just about every game they play from here on out as a must-win. "When you look at the film and thing like that, it's not a lack of effort or anything like that," Avant said. "It's just that we're not making the plays at the right time. I think from this point on, and even last week, we have to have a playoff mentality."
