Thu, 23 Dec 2010 06:36:20 -0800 Denver Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil was cited for disturbing the peace and assault in connection with an incident at the team's Oct. 24 game against the Oakland Raiders at Invesco Field, court records show, according to The Denver Post. Immediately after the incident, a Denver police spokesman said there was a minor incident involving Dumervil at one of the parking lot gates because the player did not have proper ID, but said no charges were filed. Denver County Court records show charges were filed three days later. Dumervil was arraigned Dec. 7 and has a Jan. 11 court date. Dumervil's lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, said Wednesday, Dec. 22, that his client forgot his credentials, and a security guard refused to let him in at the Invesco Field players' entrance. Words were exchanged, but the matter was settled when another Broncos official vouched for Dumervil and he was allowed into the stadium.
