Updating previous reports, New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston's restructured contract saves the Saints $2.1 million in salary cap savings. He converted $2.8 million of his base salary into a signing bonus.

By restructuring the contracts of WR Marques Colston, G Jahri Evans, G Ben Grubbs and LB David Hawthorne, the New Orleans Saints have shaved around $10 million off of their 2013 salary cap. Before the moves, the Saints were roughly $15 million over the 2013 projected salary cap.
