Like Deion Sanders and Dale Carter, Peter can be a dominant situational player that could truly make this defense one of the most feared in the league. At this point, it is just a matter of Peter deciding if this is what he wants to do and if he is comfortable with the circumstances he would be coming into."

Seattle Seahawks president Tim Ruskell discussed the team's interest in free agent LB Peter Boulware (Ravens) during a question and answer session on Seahawks.com. "He really hasn't been the Peter Boulware that we know from the Super Bowl days in the past couple of years; he actually missed all of last year. But we are having communication with his agent and we did go to his workout, and that's just going to have to be something where the team feels like it's protected, and Peter feels like it's a good situation for him as well. Obviously, the fact that his brother is here makes it intriguing for both of us. Nothing is imminent, but we don't want to close the door on Peter as well," said Ruskell.

The suspicion is Boulware might be reduced to a pass-rush specialist, and that would mean a smaller contract offer.
