The Associated Press reports the Minnesota Vikings have signed undrafted rookie free agent WR Barrick Nealy (Texas State) to an undisclosed contract. He played quarterback in college.

Bart Isley, of the Daily Record, reports NFL teams have approached Texas State QB Barrick Nealy about the possibility of switching positions, like to receiver if quarterback doesn't work out. Nealy made it clear that he wouldn't hesitate to change positions if he knew quarterback wasn't going to work out. "I'll be a deep snapper if you want me too, whatever it takes for me to get on the field," Nealy said. "But, of course, quarterback is where my heart is." Nealy spent a great deal of time during the offseason working on the center to quarterback exchange and his footwork in the pocket.
