The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams WR Isaac Bruce caught five passes for 64 yards during the Week 1 game. Bruce now has 818 catches in his career and is 11th on the NFL career list. He passed former NFL WR Henry Ellard and former NFL TE Shannon Sharpe on the list.

Rams | Linehan discusses offensive coaches roles on gameday

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams head coach Scott Linehan called offensive plays on gameday and quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier worked with the quarterbacks. Running backs coach Wayne Moses and wide receivers coach Henry Ellard worked sideline substitutions, something the team includes in practice during the week. In the coaches booth, offensive quality control coach Randy Hanson serves as Linehan's eyes in the sky. "He basically scouts me during the games, and gives all the tendencies on the play calls and what we're running out of this personnel grouping. It's actually uncanny, the information I get. It helps me in the mix of the play calls." Offensive coordinator Greg Olson provides information on field position, the spotting of the ball, and reminders about the game plan.

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams wide receivers coach Henry Ellard has signed a new contract to remain with the team. He has been on the Rams' coaching staff for the past five seasons after an NFL playing career that spanned 16 seasons. Ellard had been drawing interest from New Orleans and Detroit but has decided to stay put.
