Buffalo Bills DL Kyle Williams, who was part of a gathering for free-agent LB Mario Williams (Texans), said he is confident Williams will sign with the Bills. "I have a good feeling about it," Williams said. "We were together 'til 11 at night at the facility hanging out having a good time. The powers that be were working late last night so I feel good about it. I'll see him again (Wednesday) morning at the facility again and the fact that he's still here is good. Now we just need a couple hundred people to lay down on the tarmac at the airport."

By the end of last season, the Bills had four rookies with prominent roles on defense.

"Kyle was in town last week and he came back just for his checkups and everything is right on schedule," Wannstedt said. "There has not been a setback in any form or fashion ... we're looking forward to him having a great year, we really are."

Buffalo Bills DT Kyle Williams (ankle) said his ankle has more flexibility than it has had in a while after undergoing surgery to remove a bone spur in his ankle last month. Williams said the bone spur was fraying his Achilles' tendon but the tendon did not rupture. He said he will be completely recovered in six months and expects to be ready for next season.
