Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports contrary to earlier reports, New York Jets defensive line coach Denny Marcin was not fired, but is accepting a lesser role as a defensive assistant coach, according to an unidentified source. Marcin has signed an extension to remain with the team in the reduced role, according to the source.
