"Our defensive line did a good job of rushing the passer. [DE] John Abraham played well. [DT Jonathan] Babineaux had a lot of production. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said during a press conference that he was "very disappointed" in QB Michael Vick. Blank also said he was initially in favor of a four-game suspension, but said the leave of absence was the best option. When asked if he ever directly asked Vick if he was involved in illegal dog fighting, Blank said he had not. General manager Rich McKay said releasing Vick was an option discussed, but they agreed with the league's ruling. Head coach Bobby Petrino said there is a possibility that the team will have to prepare for a season without Michael Vick.
