The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to shuffle the right side of their offensive line around during the last two weeks of their offseason workouts after OT Mike X. Adams (stomach) was stabbed in a robbery attempt. OT Guy Whimper could replace Adams, but Whimper led the NFL in allowing sacks with 14 in 2011, and he gave up four sacks in six starts last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars. OT Kelvin Beachum is the best option for right tackle, where he started five games for Pittsburgh last year. Beachum has been working to be the top backup at guard and center this year. The only other backup would be John Malecki, who has played in only one game.
Fantasy Tip: Although Adams is expected to recover in time for training camp, this could be a problem for the team early in the season, meaning the running attack could get off to a slow start. Monitor the changes and the depth that builds up on the right side of their O-line this offseason.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed free-agent OT Guy Whimper (Jaguars) and undrafted free-agent LB Terence Garvin (West Virginia). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
