Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant emerged as a star wide receiver in 2012, but changes to the coaching staff could affect Bryant's production in 2013. Wide receiver coach Jimmy Robinson, who had a significant impact on Bryant, is out and has been replaced by new wide receivers coach Derek Dooley. Dooley will be responsible for continuing Bryant's growth moving forward.

Former Dallas Cowboys receivers coach Jimmy Robinson has been retained by the organization as a coaching consultant because he has been a positive influence on WR Dez Bryant. "Jimmy had a really positive impact on Dez," head coach Jason Garrett said. "It was a breakout year for Dez. He caught 92 balls for 1,300-plus yards and really played very, very good football. I think he matured a ton, and there's no question the environment he was in certainly helped him, and Jimmy was a big part of that."

Updating previous reports, PackersNews.com reports the Green Bay Packers have hired New Orleans Saints wide receivers coach Jimmy Robinson to be their new wide receivers coach. New Packers head coach Mike McCarthy worked with Robinson in New Orleans in 2004, when McCarthy was offensive coordinator and Robinson was in his first season as the Saints' receivers coach.
