But he's a tough guy and lead blocking is truly an art and a tough thing to do. He's proven he can do that so we like him," said head coach Dick Jauron.

Ricard said, "He's a great back. And coming from Baltimore, where I had so much success with [Baltimore Ravens RB] Jamal Lewis, I can tell Willis has the same kind of approach to the game. Willis is the kind of player who will give it his all on every play."
