Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte (ankle) never returned to the team's Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers due to an ankle injury. He went into the locker room for X-rays during the game and didn't return. He finished the game with seven rushing attempts for 31 yards and had a team-high four receptions for 49 yards during the game before his departure. Michael Bush replaced him the rest of the game. Forte's status for Week 3 is unknown at this time.
Fantasy Tip: This situation will have to be watched closely, but Forte has a little extra time to heal before the team's next game. If he cannot play, Bush would serve as the team's No. 1 back and see an increased role along with a higher fantasy value. Stay tuned.

"It's been happening my whole career here, so I don't know," Forte said when asked about not finishing drives. "That's the coordinator's call." Forte had eight more touches than Bush, who had 12 carries for 42 yards and no receptions.
