David White, of the San Francisco Chronicle, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable said he would like to use RBs Darren McFadden, Justin Fargas and Michael Bush in Week 10. "It just means more formations, getting Michael and Justin involved, Darren in other ways as well as a runner," Cable said. "So, it's good for us because, as I mentioned, when we started doing it we were a little bit better than when we finished the year last year doing that. That's how we can open it up and be more aggressive."

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable said Tuesday, Sept. 15, he will opt for two primary running backs every game. However, with RB Justin Fargas (hamstring) likely ready for Week 2, RB Michael Bush may see his snaps limited. "We're going to have two primary runners in every game. You've got to have your third ready to go. Last night it was Louis Rankin if we needed him," Cable said. "Justin is proven and proven in this system. What it does is bring a couple more packages into the offense, so hopefully we'll get to do some of that this week."
