Washington Redskins SS LaRon Landry (Achilles') has not yet had surgery for his Achilles' tendon. As such, despite his impending free agency, he might have no other option than re-signing with the Redskins for one year. Also, the franchise tag might only be $6.2 million at safety, which is about $600,000 more than Landry's cap hit this season.
