Chiefs | Sticking with Cassel in Week 3, but not closing door on potential change at quarterback
Wed, 23 Sep 2009 00:10:29 -0700 The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said QB Matt Cassel will be the team's starting quarterback during Week 3. However, he left the door open for a change at quarterback. "You've got to ultimately do what you think gives your team the best chance to win," Haley said. "If that means another quarterback being in there other than Matt Cassel, then sign me up." Cassel had a quarterback rating of 66.3 during Week 2, while QB Brodie Croyle had a quarterback rating of 116.1 during Week 1.
