Bills | Woodbury Confident of Roster Spot

Fri, 29 Jul 2005 22:09:20 -0700

John Dell, of the Winston-Salem Journal, reports Buffalo Bills QB Tory Woodbury is confident he'll land a roster spot with the Bills. He signed with the Bills as a free agent earlier this year and said he's looking forward to camp opening. "I'm ready," Woodbury said Friday, July 29. While Woodbury is listed as a quarterback, he has done a little bit of everything during the Bills' minicamps this summer. He played some wide receiver and on special teams. Because Woodbury is on the bottom of the depth chart, he said getting repetitions in practice isn't easy, but when you get that chance you have to take advantage.

Rookie QB Tory Woodbury, known as a "Slash" type player, will get a shot at split end.
