Baltimore Orioles SP Miguel Gonzalez made his first major league start Friday, July 6, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He did it while using a Rawlings glove given to him by Double-A teammate and friend, the late P Nick Adenhart, back in 2007. "I thought it was the perfect time to use it. I thought it (using the glove in his first start) was a great thing to do for him and his family," Gonzalez said. He allowed just one run and three hits over seven innings for his first victory against Adenhart's former major league club.
