Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Winston-Salem RB Martin Hicks measured a height of 5-7 1/2 and a weight of 170 pounds at his Pro Day. Hicks ran the 40-yard dash twice with a time of 4.48 seconds while finishing the short shuttle in 4.36 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.89 seconds. He measured a 36-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-4 broad jump while completing 10 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

John Dell, of the Winston-Salem Journal, reports former Winston-Salem RB Martin Hicks will take part in the Whataburger Cactus Bowl in hopes of gaining more exposure for the NFL draft. The bowl game features the best seniors from Division-II schools and will be played Friday, Jan. 6.
