Houston Texans FS Danieal Manning looked good as the team's primary kickoff return man in the AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the New England Patriots Sunday, Jan. 13. He has four returns for 216 yards, including a 94-yard return on the game's opening kickoff which led to a field goal. However, his lack of breakaway speed prevented two long returns from going for touchdowns.

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said it is possible that the team uses FS Danieal Manning as their kickoff returner in their Wild Card playoff game.

The NFL has fined Houston Texans FS Danieal Manning $15,000 for punching Green Bay Packers OT Marshall Newhouse in Week 6 as Manning was pinned under a pile, according to a source. Manning plans to appeal the fine because his punches came in an attempt to protect himself from injury.

Houston Texans FS Danieal Manning returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. CB Kareem Jackson returned an interception 63 yards for a touchdown in the game.
