San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis struggled to learn the team's new offense early in the season but appeared to be in a groove the final five games of the season. Davis averaged 42 receiving yards per game in his first 13 games but averaged 107 yards in the last five games of the season including playoffs.

San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis said he prayed the New York Giants would beat the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round. New York Giants FS Antrel Rolle responded to the comments by telling Davis he should beware of what he wants. "If he said that, I can only hope that he was saying just because they wanted to get a home game," Rolle said. "You know, they better be careful for what they ask for because their wish has been granted and we will see those boys come Sunday."
