Quinn has not played a regular season game during the past two seasons. He does, however, have history with head coach Romeo Crennel from their time together in Cleveland in 2007. Quinn does give the team some stability as a backup quarterback, an area the team has struggled at in recent seasons.

In it, Quinn was quoted as saying, "We've had a lot of, I guess, luck, to put it simply." Quinn also said he felt the fans were the reason Tebow leapfrogged him on the depth chart when supplanting QB Kyle Orton as the starter after a 1-4 start. "I felt like the fans had a lot to do with that. Just 'cause they were chanting his name. There was a big calling for him. No, I don't have any billboards. That would have been nice." Quinn took to Twitter after the article's release Tuesday, Feb. 21, saying the comments attributed to him did not reflect his opinion of Tebow.

Fox hasn't decided on what his quarterback rotation will be for the regular season, and with the new rules of not having to designate a No. 3 quarterback on game day he may not share that information when he decides.
