Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams DL Adam Carriker's (shoulder) shoulder surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 9. The expected recovery time is four months. Carriker said he has a 75 percent tear in the subscapularis muscle in the shoulder. The supscapularis is the deepest muscle of the rotator cuff.

St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said there is not a time table in place for the return of DL Adam Carriker (ankle). Carriker is supposed to do a little bit during workouts Tuesday, Aug. 18, and possibly a bit more the next day. He is making progress in his return from an ankle injury.
