Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Arkansas TE Jared Hicks worked out at his Pro Day March 15, and measured in with a height of 6-5 1/8 and a weight of 286 pounds. Hicks ran a time of 5.12 and 5.15 seconds in the 40-yard dash, had a 26 1/2-inch vertical jump, an 8-9 long jump, a 4.68 short shuttle, a 7.39 three-cone drill and 17 benches.

NCAA | Hicks ranked top ten among tight ends

Mike Tupa, of the Examiner-Enterprise, reports University of Arkansas TE Jared Hicks is ranked as the 10th best tight end available in the DJ Boyer 2006 NFL Draft Rankings. The senior finished his Arkansas career with 16 receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns. At 6-6 and 280 pounds, he also played a key role as a blocker for the team.
