Steve Doerschuk, of the Canton Repository, reports Cleveland Browns QB Dustin Almond has struggled during the team's minicamp by showing a propensity to drop the football on snaps. Diamond was yelled at on one occasion by head coach Romeo Crennel for dropping a snap.

The Clarion-Ledger reports the Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms with undrafted rookie free agent QB Dustin Almond (Southern Mississippi). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Southern Mississippi QB Dustin Almond measured a height of 6-1 5/8 at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.71 with a 5 m.p.h. wind and 4.76 seconds against a 5 m.p.h. wind. He finished the short shuttle in 4.40 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.20 seconds while measuring a 31-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-11 long jump.

Joedy McCreary, of the Associated Press, reports Southern Miss QB Dustin Almond is looking to impress NFL scouts Saturday, Dec. 24, during the inaugural Magnolia Gridiron All-Star Classic. Almond recently led Southern Miss to a victory over Arkansas State in the New Orleans Bowl.
