Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said the team will use LB DeMeco Ryans in all three downs this season. Reid said Ryans has a pretty good feel for playing in nickel defenses.

The Houston Texans' decision to trade LB DeMeco Ryans to the Philadelphia Eagles upset many players on the team. "Cold-blooded, man, cold-blooded. But Meco will be better off for it. He's going to dominate in Philly," one player said. Another added, "It's an ugly business. We're not the same team without him. Gonna take a lot to replace Meco."
