Zach Schonbrun, of MLB.com, reports the Tampa Bay Rays signed free-agent RP Winston Abreu (Indians) to a minor league deal Thursday, Aug. 6. The team traded him to the Cleveland Indians a little more than two months ago. He will report to Triple-A Durham Friday, Aug. 7. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
