Barry Svrluga, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins OG Randy Thomas (triceps) said he believes he still can play and is not considering retirement. "I got plenty more in me," Thomas said. "That 'R' word ain't ever in my mind. I think I got plenty more in me. I'm always gonna fight until I tell myself that enough is enough. I'm working like I always work."

Ryan O'Halloran, of the Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins OG Randy Thomas (triceps) sustained a complete tear of his triceps and is scheduled for surgery Wednesday, Sept. 23, or Thursday, Sept. 24, according to head coach Jim Zorn. Thomas will be placed on Injured Reserve.
